Hetvenedik napja szelik az óceán habjait a Vendée Globe földkerülő szóló vitorlásverseny résztvevői.
Közel két hónapja, Franciaországból elrajtolt harminc indulóból még 12-en versenyben vannak. Az embert és hajót próbára tévő viadalon Desjoyeaux Michel (Fonica) továbbra is az első helyen áll, és egyre nagyobb az esélye a győzelemre. A két női Skipper, Davies Samantha és Caffari Dee is versenyben vannak a negyedik és a nyolcadik helyen.
